Lake
Iseo
The Lake Iseo area, with its unspoilt nature, offers an incomparable variety of landscapes and a mild climate all year round: from Sarnico to Lovere, small coves alternate with stretches of rocky coastline hanging over the lake, inlets and ancient villas lapped by the lake’s waters. From Pisogne to Paratico, the coast slopes down to the lake, creating flat, lush areas, whereas from Marone you can reach the ‘Piramidi di Terra’(Pyramids of Land) reserve.
From the ferryboat pier only 50 metres from Hotel dell’Angelo, ferries depart daily for excursions to romantic Montisola in the middle of the lake, to the two islets of Loreto and San Paolo, and other settlements on the lake. A magical opportunity to discover the beautiful coastline and ancient villas on the water’s edge, such as “Villa Lanza” or “Torre Dimezzata”.
1.5 km from the Hotel, opportunities abound for practising fun and original water sports such as wakeboarding, or the possibility, just 500 metres from the Hotel, of renting a motorboat for a high-octane ride on the lake.

Franciacorta
A short distance from the lake we find Franciacorta, a land of castles and vineyards, where some of Italy’s finest wines are produced. To the north, Valle Camonica offers archaeological sites with rock engravings and modern winter sports resorts, while to the west you will find Val Cavallina and picturesque Lake Endine.
A tour
of the mountains
The view of the area’s impressive and sunlit mountains and of the waterfall that divides the town of Predore, invites tourists staying with us to venture out on excursions of greater or lesser difficulty, devoting themselves to trekking or climbing.
For those interested in trekking, we recommend an excursion to the small Madonna Della Neve church or the Corno trail, a route winding through gardens and woods surrounded by stunning panoramic views; for climbers, there are excellent outdoor climbing walls, 1 km from the Hotel.
Discover
the villages
Hotel dell’Angelo overlooks the main square in the historic centre of Predore, while to the rear are the Roman baths inside a villa dating back to 200 AD, both of which can be visited.
The medieval village offers several places to visit, including the Church of San Giorgio, the Church of San Giovanni Battista and the Church of San Rocco, as well as, of course, the Torre Dimezzata, which is part of the town’s ancient fortifications dating back to the 12th century and located in a villa right on the lakeshore.

Hotel dell’Angelo also offers guests two rental bicycles so they may take advantage of the bike path from Predore to Sarnico, a village where you can visit the Gianni Bellini painting gallery, or go to Lovere, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, where you can stop off at the Tadini Academy.
